Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a multicolored ornament having a three-dimensional pattern at a low cost by patterning the surface of Al or an Al alloy as a base metal with anodic oxide films and paint films. CONSTITUTION:A resist is patternwise applied to an Al or Al alloy material 3 for a case for a wrist watch, and anodic oxide films 1 of about 20mum thickness are formed on the material 3 in a sulfuric acid bath. The resist is removed, the films 1 are treated to seal the pores, and golden paint films 2 of about 40mum thickness are formed on the exposed parts on which a pattern is formed with golded paint for electrodeposition. Thus, a golden relief pattern having metallic luster is formed on the silver-white background, and a case for a wrist watch having a high ornamental value and satisfactory corrosion resistance is obtd. The ornamental value can be further increased by electrolytically coloring the anodic oxide films 1.

いう問題があり、また金めつき全使用する場合、コスト
といった点にも問題があった。

り陽極酸化被膜よりも厚く盛り上げて、立体的模様を表
現出来る。

〔実施例1〕 アルミ合金(5052材)より形成した腕時計用ケース

、さらに金色電着塗装液(アニオン系ilt着塗装液、
清水商事製)にて40ミクロンの金色塗膜2′t−模様
全形成する部分に形成した。このようにして得られたケ
ースは銀白色の素地に美しい金色の浮き出し模様を有す
るものであり、装飾的価値の高い、耐食性も良好なもの
であった。(第1図、第2図) ここで、塗装膜として電層塗装全利用したことで、本来
電着塗装のもつ透明感のある塗膜のため下地の金属光沢
が失なわれず、金属光沢のある模様のケースが出来ると
い゛う・効果も得らルた。

金色塗膜2全形成し、黒色素地に金属光沢を有する美し
い金色の文字板が得られた。この文字板は装飾的価値も
扁く、文字板としての品質も十分備えたものであった。
