Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce equipment cost and eliminate the special power source to operate a device by drying sludge with the heat medium which is heated by hot air produced in an air preheater. CONSTITUTION:Exhaust gas produced in an incinerator heats the combustion air in a combustion air preheater 3 and then heats the air for heating of heat medium. Air for heating of the heat medium is formed to flow into the air preheater 4 by an air preheater fan 5 and then into the heater 6 for the heat medium. Air for heating of heat medium (or vapor) is returned back to the air preheater 4, and a part of said air is transferred to the combustion air preheater 3. Air preheated by the air preheater 3 is pressurized by a blower 7 and is used as combustion air in the incinerator 2 after passing through the air preheater 3. Therefore, it is not necessary to equip an emergency power in case of electricity failure for a heat medium circulation pump.

用して汚泥を乾燥することを特徴とする汚泥の焼却方法
