Regarding various volatile liquid substances that are applied in the fields of sex pheromones, fragrances, and insecticides, there is an advantage in gradually releasing appropriate amounts over a long period of time instead of spraying or releasing them all at once. is extremely large, and it is therefore desirable to develop an instrument that can achieve this purpose.

From this point of view, the inventors of the present invention previously proposed a sex pheromone emitting tube consisting of a polyethylene thin tube filled with a sex pheromone substance (Japanese Patent Application No. 1983-
No. 46567). This method has the advantage that the sex pheromone substance passes through the thick part of the tubule and is gradually released into the atmosphere from the entire outer circumferential surface of the tubule. However, as a result of repeated trials, we have found that in the case of the above-mentioned tubule,
As the release progresses, there is a problem that the release rate slows down as the amount of residual liquid (sex pheromone substance) in the tubule decreases, and when trying to release at a relatively high release rate for a long time at a constant rate. (for example, over 100 days), it is difficult to determine the filling amount of volatile liquid substance and the surface area of the capillary.
It has been found that normally in this case it is necessary to add a new discharge pipe midway through.

本考案はこの間題点を解決したものであつて、

This invention solves the problem,
This relates to a volatile substance discharge tube formed by disposing a thread over the entire length of a polyethylene thin tube and enclosing a volatile liquid substance.

According to the present invention, (1) the volatile liquid substance is released at a constant rate even when the remaining amount of liquid is low; (2)
The desired release rate can be easily adjusted by varying the length and thickness of the polyethylene capillary.3 The polyethylene capillary is inert to volatile liquid substances and cannot be exposed to the elements for long periods of time. It has the advantage that it will not deteriorate or break even if it is used.

以下本考案を詳細に説明する。 The present invention will be explained in detail below.

The polyethylene thin tube 1 is required to have the function of gradually volatilizing volatile liquid substances through its thick part and to have a certain degree of mechanical strength; Furthermore, the tube should not be extremely thin, and it is usually preferable that it be a thin tube with an inner diameter of 0.3 to 1.5 mm and a wall thickness of 0.1 to 1 mm.

If you want to increase the release rate from the tube surface, you can make the tube longer or thinner.
Furthermore, it is sufficient to use thin tubes made of low-density polyethylene; conversely, if you want to slow down the release rate, you can use shorter tubes or increase the wall thickness.
Furthermore, a thin tube made of medium or high density polyethylene may be used.

The volatile liquid substance sealed in the polyethylene thin tube 1 includes fragrances and sex pheromone substances, and in particular, sex pheromone substances.
A method of filling these volatile liquid substances is to thread a thread through a polyethylene capillary in advance.
After reducing the pressure on one side and filling it with a volatile liquid substance, both ends may be sealed by heat melting, or the sealing thread may also be fixed with adhesive at the same time.

The thus obtained volatile substance release tube of the present invention progresses in volatilization and release of liquid substances as it is used.
Even when the amount of liquid in the polyethylene capillary decreases, the yarn continuously carries the liquid substance to the top of the capillary, so it has the advantage that the rate of volatilization of the liquid substance from the surface of the capillary remains approximately constant.
