Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic sheet from having a flaw while running by forming a stabilizing member into a conic rotating body which coincides with respective peripheral speeds at respective radial positions on the magnetic sheet. CONSTITUTION:Stabilizing members 6a and 6b are fitted to the magnetic sheet 4 through bearings 7a and 7b in sliding contact with the opposite surface of a magnetic head 5. At this time, the axes of center of the truncated conic bodies 6a and 6b of rotation meet each other on the center axes of a center hub 7. Those conic bodies are increased in diameter from the internal diameter side of the sheet to the external diameter side so that peripheral speeds at respective sliding contact parts almost coincide with those on the abutting sheet in the radial direction of the sheet.

メそすに比べて記憶容量は大きいが、電子カメラの画質
向上、小屋化の要求から、より小径のもので十分な容量
が得られるように記録密度が高いことが望まれる。磁気
記録を高密度化しようとすると磁気ヘッドと磁気シート
との摺接状態は極めて安定・良好であることが要求され
る。

磁気ヘッドと反対側に安定化部材を設け、磁気シートの
走行を安定化させるようKしたものが提案されている。

に対向する一対の対向面を有する前記磁気シートの回転
を安定化させる安定化部材を備えた回転磁気記録再生装
置において、前記安定化部材が前記磁気シートの回転駆
動時に回転し、さらに前記磁気シートの半径方向各位置
においての周速が前記安定化部材の回転体の周速とほぼ
一致する円錐形もしくは円錐台形であることを特徴とす
る回転磁気シート記録再生装置。
