In conventional magnetic heads for magnetic disks, the disk and core slider are in contact when the magnetic disk is stopped.
A levitation force is applied to the core slider by the rotation of the disk, and a force (balanced with the levitation force) is applied to maintain a constant spacing.
A loading load (hereinafter referred to as loading load) was applied to the core slider by a force such as a leaf spring.

The loading load is applied even when the disk is stopped, so if the disk and core slider come into close contact with each other, it becomes difficult to separate them. If the disk is rotated forcibly, the opposing surfaces of the disk and core slider will be scratched, making it impossible to maintain stable floating spacing of the head. This may lead to accidents such as crashes. The purpose of this invention is to eliminate the above-mentioned conventional problems, and to minimize the loading load applied to the core slider when the disk is stopped.
To provide a magnetic head having the effect that a disk and a core slider do not come into close contact with each other, and therefore a stable floating smoothness can be maintained without causing scratches on the disk or core slider.

The feature of this invention is that in order to prevent the magnetic disk from coming into close contact with the core slider, the loading load applied to the core slider that is in contact with the magnetic disk when the disk is stopped is extremely small, and the loading load increases as the disk rotates. Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail using the drawings. FIG. 1 shows a state in which the disc is at rest.

The core slider 2 is composed of a slider that controls a floating part having an angle of attack on the air inflow end side of the surface facing the disc, and a magnetic core joined to the rear of the slider. The magnetic core and the slider form a magnetic circuit. are doing. A load arm 3 is attached to the back surface of the core slider 2 near the center of gravity of the core slider 2, and the tip portion of the load arm 3 constitutes a vane 4 for applying a loading load to the core slider 2. When the disk 1 is stopped, the core slider 2 is supported by a leaf spring or the like (not shown) with an extremely weak force that touches the disk surface in parallel, or the disk surface is supported by the core slider 2's own weight instead of an external force. Support parallel to and in contact with.

As shown in FIG. 2, when the disc begins to rotate in the direction of the arrow, the air flow 5 generated on the surface of the disc enters the attack angle portion of the core slider 2, and the core slider 2 begins to float. On the other hand, the airflow 5 on the surface of the disk hits the blades 4, and the blades 4 receive the airflow 5 and convert it into a load force that presses the vicinity of the center of gravity of the core slider 2 in the direction of the disk surface. The core slider 2 floats above the disk surface with a spacing 7 in which the levitation force received from the airflow on the disk surface and the load force converted by the blades 4 are balanced. The spacing 7 is set by adjusting the area or angle 6 of the blade 4. With the configuration as described above, the following effects can be obtained with the present invention.

Since the loading load when the disk is stopped is very weak, there is no close contact between the disk and the core slider, so even when the disk starts rotating, the core slider cannot be smoothly moved to a floating state without damaging the disk or core slider. Serve.
