Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a load to be applied to a cam driving motor in the opening/ closing of a paper feed roller to make a small-size motor available, by using a plurality of rotating cams which have different maximum torque generating timings at which each cam presses a roller lever back to an open position. CONSTITUTION:Respective cams having the same shape are fixed to the same rotating angle position on a cam shaft so that a gap (g) between the cam and a roller lever is made different by every cam at a close position on which a roller 4a is in pressure contact with a feed roller 16. This arrangement of the cams allows the cams which are rotating to take different times until abutting against the roller lever and to have different maximum torque generating timings. When the paper feed roller is made open or close using two or more cams, the deviation of maximum torque generating timing for each cam prevents that the maximum loads of the cams are simultaneously applied to a cam shaft rotating motor. Therefore, a load applied to the motor is reduced, whereby a small torque and small-size motor is made available.
