Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve snow sliding capacity, by forming a fluorocarbon resin film containing no pigment to the surface layer of a coated steel plate coated with fluorocarbon resin coating to which seam weldability is imparted. CONSTITUTION:A bottom coat film 2 composed of a film resin and containing anticorrosive pigment and 7-18pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the film resin of a graphite powder having an average particle size 4-10mum is formed to a stainless steel plate 1 to which coating pretreatment is applied and an intermediate coat film 3 composed of the film resin and containing color pigment and 170-250pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the film resin of a stainless steel powder having an average particle size of 20-50mum is formed on the film 2 to form a weldable coated stainless steel plate. A top coat film 4 composed of a fluorocarbon resin having no pigment added thereto is formed to the surface of said stainless steel plate in a thickness of 3-10mum so that a center line average roughness Ra is 1.0mum or less. The top coat film 4 and the intermediate coat film 3 thereunder are welded. Since the weldable coated steel plate can obtain sufficient natural snow slidability at the angle of inclination of a roof of 15-20 deg. and has excellent durability over a long period of time, a natural snow sliding type roof can be executed without forming an unreasonable structure.
