CONSTITUTION:A casted iron bond tool 8 is relatively shifted for a ground member 6 immersed in slurry 3, revolving around the axis center, and the ground member 6 is grinding-worked by the tool 8 in the slurry 3 containing abrasive grains. In this case, the casted iron bond tool 8 is applied with a dressing action by the free abrasive grains in the slurry 3. Therefore, the clogging of the tool 8 in the grinding of a hardly ground material can be prevented effectively. Further, the ground member 6 immersed in the slurry 3 can be surface-ground with high accuracy by the synergism between the free abrasive grains in the slurry 3 and the fixed abrasive grains of the tool 8.
