Abstract
PURPOSE:To execute a strong magnetization operation while the leakage of magnetism is eliminated by a method wherein magnetic shield plates composed of a superconducting material are arranged on both sides of a magnetizing head, a ring- shaped permanent magnet is rotated, a magnetic field is impressed on the ring-shaped permanent magnet from the magnetizing head while it is synchronized with a turning operation of the magnet and a multiple magnetization operation is executed. CONSTITUTION:First, Dy.6H2O, Ba and Cu.H2O are put in pure water; they are stirred and dispersed. Then, this mixture is dried and baked; an obtained fine powder is baked; a thermoplastic resin powder is added to it, mixed and dispersed. Then, while the mixture is heated, it is kneaded; after that, it is cooled and cut to form pellels. Then, the pellets are heated and molded by using a press; it is cooled; after that, they are arranged on both sides of a magnetizing head 1 of a multipole magnetization device and are used as magnetic shield plates 3. A ring-shaped permanent magnet with an outer diameter phi of 45 and an inner diameter phi of 42mm composed of an Nd-Fe-B-based permanent magnet powder and a thermoplastic resin is set in this device; it is rotated by using a rotary mechanism; electricity is supplied to a coil from a separately installed BC power supply device while a turning operation is synchronized with the supply of electricity; 200 poles are magnetized on its periphery.
