Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of the ring-shaped magnet and to prevent the drop of a magnet block by forming the ring-shaped magnet by using a metal mold so as to form one body together with a synthetic resin, and compressing the magnetic block into a resin under the heated state. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical metal mold 1 having a recess 2 at the center of the bottom is heated, and a metal sleeve 3 is fixed to the recess. A material, wherein a thermosetting resin is blended with magnetic powder, a curing agent, and a mold release agent, is injected, pressed and formed by a mold 5. The formed product with the sleeve 3 is taken out of the mold, and N and S poles are alternately magnetized in the circumferential direction, thereby a plastic magnet 7 is completed. Then, the magnet 7 is fixed to the heated metal mold; and the mixture of the thermosetting resin, the curing agent, and the filling material is put in, compressed, and formed. Before it is cooled, an isotropic magnet block 9 is compressed into the specified position, and magnetization is performed. Finally, a shaft 6 is compressed in the sleeve 3. In this constitution, since the sleeve is compressed after it has been formed as one body, the defective plastic magnets are not yielded.
