Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a superconductive material with excellent superconductive characteristic by forming a film made of an oxide superconductive material on a substrate with good flexibility without generating cracks in the film. CONSTITUTION:A film 2 made of oxide superconductive material with the perovskite structure is formed on a tungsten substrate 1 with good flexibility. Tungsten has a small thermal expansion coefficient among metals, and its value is relatively near to the thermal expansion coefficient of the oxide superconductive material. No crack is generated on the superconductive thin film in the heat treatment during or after the film formation on the tungsten substrate 1. The characteristic of a superconductor can be thereby improved.
