Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve soldering characteristic of a thin metallic film layer on a transparent electrode and to enhance adhesion of the layer to the electrode by forming the metallic thin film from a specified Ni alloy. CONSTITUTION:A color filter 14 comprising an org. filter formed by a dyeing method, overcoat layer 15, SiO2 layer 10, transparent electrode 12 consisting of an oxide of In and Pb, etc., and a metallic thin film layer 13 are laminated successively on a glass substrate 11. The layer 13 is formed of an alloy consisting of >=30wt.% Cu, 0.1-10wt.% Sn, and residual wt.% Ni. In this case, Au, etc., may be added to the alloy in order to improve the soldering characteristic, and Ti may be added in order to improve the adhesion to the electrode 12. Further, the layer 13 may be formed by sputtering, etc., and then patterned by a photolithographic means.
