Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a mode transformation device for a clad-type multiple-mode optical fiber using a continuous light current, in which atthermally shrinkable tube for a protection-coating use is permitted to forcedly bend due to its ununiform shrinkage, so that a higher order mode is decreased.
