PURPOSE:To prevent invasion of external water into an underwater molded motor by coating the periphery of a coil end with polyethylene or polypropylene powder and molding with unsaturated polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:A powder coating layer 13 using polyethylene or polypropylene is formed on the periphery of a coil end 5 projected sidewisely of a stator core 2, and a resin molding member 4 made of unsaturated polyester resin is formed on the outer periphery and side of the core 2 and the periphery of the coil end 5. In this manner, the resin can be molded at low pressure and temperature, a damage to the coil can be eliminated, and water invaded to the member 4 can be sealed with a powder coating layer 13.
