Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a capstan shaft to accelerate and decelerate rapidly by coupling a flywheel device with the capstan shaft in low-speed reproduction and by disconnecting it in high-speed reproduction. CONSTITUTION:A clutch arm 7 having a clutch shoe 5 pressed at a prescribed pressure by a clutch spring 8 against the outer circumferential surface of a clutch drum 4 rotating together with a capstan shaft 1 in one body is coupled with a flywheel 9. Consequently, as the flywheel 9 turns at a high speed exceeding a prescribed rotational frequency, its centrifugal force separates the clutch shoe 5 from the outer circumferential surface of the clutch drum 4 with a weight 11, and in normal low- speed reproduction, the flywheel 9 is coupled with the capstan shaft 1, thereby preventing a wow and flutter.
