Abstract
PURPOSE: To prmit the supply of sufficient amounts of hot water at all times by utilizing the solar energy in the day time and by regulating the heating amount of a heater according to the condition of water temperature by operating the heater by electric power at right.
CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 4 and heaters 5 and 6 are provided from lower side in a hot water storage tank 1 with a water supply port 3 and a hot water outlet 2, and the heat exchanger 4 is connected to solar energy collectors 12 and 13 through pipes 15 and 16 provided with a circulating pump 14. The water temperature of the collector 13 is detected by a detector 19, and when the temperature becomes higher than the temperature of water near the heaters 5 and 6, the circulating pump 14 is operated. The temperature of water near the heaters 5 and 6 is detected by regulators 8 and 10. When it reaches 85°C or higher, both the heaters 5 and 6 are turned OFF, the regulator 8 is turned ON at 50°C or lower, and the regulator 10 is turned ON at set temperature, 70°C or lower, higher than that of the regulator 8. In this system, midnight electric power is supplied to the heaters 5 and 6 and controlled for regulating their heating amounts.
