Abstract

PURPOSE:To increase the hot-water feeding capacity of a hot-water feeding apparatus in which hot water is obtained by circulating liquid between a heat collector and a hot-water storing tank having an auxiliary heating means at its upper portion by means of a circulating pump, by improving the piping for the heat collector and hot-water storing tank including the circulating pump and auxiliary heating means. CONSTITUTION:During daytime, water in a heat collector 1 is heated by the solar heat by circulating water at a lower portion of a hot-water storing tank 2 through a three-way valve 9, solar-heat collector 1 and the tank 2 sequentially in this sequence. During night, on the other hand, the three-way valve 9 is shifted to communicate the circulating pump 7 with an upper portion of the tank 2 via a by-pass pipe 10. Therefore, warm water at the lower portion in the tank, heated in the heat collector 1, is carried to an upper portion in the tank 2 located upward of an auxiliary heater 3 via the three-way valve 9 and by-pass pipe 10 by means of the circulating pump 7. Here, the auxiliary heater 3 continues to operate until the entire water in the tank 2 is heated to a prescribed temperature.
