Abstract
PURPOSE:To make it possible to manufacture the highly accurate pedometer, by swinging a pendulum supoorted by a spring by the acceleration caused by wwlking steps with said supporting point as a fulcrum, and actuating a lead switch by a magnetic provided on the tip of the pendulum. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic is provided on the tip of the swinging pendulum supported by the spring with the supporting point as the fulcrum, and faced with the lead switch. At first, the pendulum is located at the position of a lower stopper. At the time of walking, the pendulum swings upward by the upward acceleration, turns ON the lead switch to generate a signal, and returns to the OFF position under its own weight. For example, the permanent magnet 7 is attached to the tip of the weight 6 of the pendulum 4 which is supported by the spring in a case 1 so that the pendulum swings around the supporting point 5. Normally, the pendulum stays at a specified position by a lower magnet 2. The pendulum 4 swings by the accelerating action at the time of walking, the lead switch 3 is actuated by the action of the magnet 7 at the tip, and the number of steps is accurately counted.
