Abstract
PURPOSE:To protect a galvanized surface from corrosion for a long period of time by forming a primer paint film on the galvanized surface by using a paint composed of an epoxy resin or polyurethane resin, zinc powder, calcium plumbate, and a flaky pigment. CONSTITUTION:A paint composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. epoxy resin or polyurethane resin, 5-250pts.wt. zinc powder, 5-200pts.wt. calcium plumbate, and 10-200pts.wt. flaky pigment. And, the paint composition is coated on a galvanized surface and dried to form a primer paint film. In addition, one or more paint films of various kinds may be coated on the primer paint film followed by drying to form a finish coat in order to further icrease the anticorrosive effect.
