Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the productivity and efficiency of a titled device by disposing plural die casting devices provided with holding furnaces for low pressure casting and dies on a turntable and providing required devices on the outer side of the turntable.
CONSTITUTION: A turntable 1 is rotated continuously in a clockwise direction to move 5 units of die casting machines 6 successively to a position AW a position E. In the position A, upper, lower dies 24, 18 are opened, and cleaning and core setting are carried out. Before they come to the position D, a cylinder 23 is extended to close the dies 24, 18. Thence, compressed air is supplied through an air supply port 15, and the molten metal in a crucible 10 is cast into the cavities of the dies 24, 18 via a stalk 12 and is allowed to solidify. When the machine 6 comes to the position D, the cover member 26 of a molten metal supply pipe 13 is opened and the molten metal is supplied to a ladle 29 via a spout member 36 from a holding furnace 35, and is replenished from the ladle 29 into the crucible 10 via the pipe 13. On the other hand, the die 24 held stuck with the product is opened, and in the position E, the product is dropped onto a receiving member 28 by using ejector pins 25.
