Abstract
PURPOSE:To insert a semiconductor magneto-sensitive element easily and positively into a core gap with an extremely narrow space by forming a semiconductor magneto-sensitive element section as a substrate unit shaped by mounting and wiring the element onto an insulating substrate on which drawing wiring is printed previously. CONSTITUTION:The substrate unit is formed in such a manner that wiring flowing control currents through a Hall element original body 11 and an output wire extracting Hall voltage VH are shaped to the thin substrate 12 consisting of ceramics, etc. by printed wiring, and the Hall element original body 11 is fitted to the wiring. The whole thickness of the substrate unit can be made 1mm. or thinner if the unit has strength capable of inserting into the core gap. The substrate unit and external wiring 13 are connected at an end section of the printed wiring. Accordingly, the element can easily be inserted into the core gap with the extremely narrow space, the current transformer for low currents is obtained and the transformer is slightly subject to the effects of external magnetic fields, and characteristics can be improved.
