Abstract

Further, insulator layers 4 and 4' can be provided between electrolyte layers 1 and 1' and electrochromic material layers 2 and 2', and those layer will not transmit holes h<+> and electrons e<-> to suppress the application of holes h<+> to the electrochromic material layers, thereby improving the application efficiency of H<+> ions.
