Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power consumption, by turning on and off the first MOSFET and the second MOSFET of the preceding stage, respectively when a complementary MOS inverter is stand-by. CONSTITUTION:When an inverter is stand-by, the L level and the H level are applied to a control signal input terminal 26 and a terminal 27, respectively, and MOSFETs T23 and T24 are turned off and on, respectively. Therefore, an input terminal 25 of the C-MOS inverter becomes L-level, and the H level in the TTL level which is inputted to the input terminal 25 before the stand-by state falls to the L level, and the H level is always outputted from an output terminal 24 of the C- MOS inverter as long as the inverter is stand-by. Consequently, since the TTL level input signal can be cut in the stand-by time, stand-by power consumption is reduced.
