PURPOSE:To speed operation by detecting even slight voltage variations of a digit line by automatically applying a bias to the highest sensitive point of an inverting amplifier. CONSTITUTION:A function block MC connected electrically to a digit line DL and an inverting amplifier IV using the digit line DL as an input line are provided. Further, a feedback resistance Rf connected between the digit line DL and the output S of the inverting amplifier IV is included, and an enhancement type feedback IGFETQf whose source is connected to the digit line DL while the drain and gate are connected to the output point S of the inverting amplifier IV in common is used.
