Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a comparator which is able to detect a variation of a potential level, by using a PUT. CONSTITUTION:In case when input voltage is low and voltage of a point (b) is higher than voltage of a point (a), a PUT31 is in an off-state. When the input voltage rises, the PUT31 turns on and an output terminal 50 becomes a high level. As a result, transistors 36, 37 are turned on, voltage drop in a resistance 46 is increased, and conduction of a transistor 32 is kept. In case when the input voltage is reduced, an on-state of the PUT31 is continued until voltage is decreased further lower than input voltage in case when the PUT31 has been turned on, due to an effect of a resistance 45 connected in parallel.
