Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an integrated circuit of monostable multivibrator having a high performance, by comparing the voltage of a charging/discharging circuit with the reference level of a reference voltage generating circuit and resetting a bistable multivibrator when the voltage of the charging/discharging circuit exceeds the reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:When a trigger pulse of VT is applied to a trigger terminal 1, a bistable multivibrator 2 reverses to turn off a switch circuit 3. Thus a charging/ discharging circuit 4 starts charging, and accordingly the charging voltage V3 increases. When the voltage VS becomes higher than the voltage Vref of a reference voltage circuit 6, the output voltage VR is produced from a voltage comparing circuit 5 to reset the vibrator 2. As a result, the circuit 3 is turned on to discharge the charged voltage of the circuit 4. Thus a stable state is obtained. In this case, a monostable multivibrator can be produced with a terminal case, a monostable multivibrator can be produced with a terminal that decides the pulse duration. As a result, an integrated circuit can be obtained for a monostable multivibrator with a high performance.
