Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately picture an infrared ray picture on a TV monitor, by controlling the timing when the infrared ray video is converted into a TV signl, through the provision of a sensor detecting the amplitude of scanning lines and controlling the amplitude of the scanning line by the output from the sensor. CONSTITUTION:The output level of the reference signal from a reference signal generator 8 is controlled at an amplitude limit circuit 7 and inputted to a drive circuit 6, and a scanning mirror 4 of a scanner 3 is driven with the output of the circuit 6. The infrared rays from a picture objective 1 is reflected at a scanning mirror through the light collection system 2 with the drive of the scanning mirror 4, it is detected at detection elements 9-1, 9-2 of a detector 9, and the infrared ray image is converted into electric video signals. The video signal is amplified at an amplifier 10 and inputted to a TV signal converter 11, converted into a TV video signal in synchronizing with the composite synchronizing signal from a limit circuit 7 and the infrared ray picture is pictured on a TV monitor 12 accurately.
