Abstract

PURPOSE:To make coincide start point of scanning for each color and to prevent the generation of color shift, by providing a means which detects the relative position beween an effective scanning start line of a line sensors and an image forming plane and gating the transmission of a video signal with the detected output. CONSTITUTION:A CCD20 as a line sensor is relatively moved to an image forming plane where an objective is formed. The image forming plane is scanned three times for the CCD20 to obtain a color still picture. A reference line 6-6' is set to the plane 3 and a means 80 to detect the passing of the CCD20 is provided on this prolonged line. The means 80 consists of a light source 80A such as an LED and a photodetector 80B such as photo transistor and the passing of the CCD20 is detected by an L-shaped shelter 81 fitted to the CCD20 shutting the light. The scanning start point of each color is made coincident by gating the transmission of a video signal from the CCD20 through this detected output, allowing to prevent the generation of color shift.
