Abstract
PURPOSE:To make a synchronizing time almost zero and to obtain a frequency conversion with the same sampling order at all times, by frequency-dividing a frequency lower than an input high frequency signal by a desired value and generating sampling pulses based on said frequency-divided frequency. CONSTITUTION:An input high frequency signal f0 is given to a signal generator 23 having a PLL circuit and a sampler circuit 25. The reference frequency fM of the signal generator 23 is selected equally as the frequency after frequency conversion. Thus, the signal generator 23 generates a frequency fs lower than the input high frequency f0 by a desired frequency fM. A sample pulse generator 29 generates pulse signals with narrow width in the frequency fs. An output signal f'M by mixing this pulse signal and the input high frequency signal at the sampler 25 in an open loop for the higher hormonics.
