Abstract

PURPOSE:To impart the functions for coimbined heating and hot water supply and as well as for removing snow from roof to the system by a method wherein a solar heat collector with only heat collecting plates and without transparent body and a heat accumulator are connected with a heat collecting pump and the heat accumulator is connected through an auxiliary heating boiler to the place where hot water is used. CONSTITUTION:Water is supplied from a feed water tank 6 in proportion to the amount 11 supplied to load into the heat accumulator 2 and circulated through the heat collecting pump 3 to the solar heat collector 1 with only heat collecting plates in order to absorb solar heat. The resultant heated water is sent through a boiler, which supplementarily heats said water, by means of a pump 8 to the place where the hot water is wished for. The temperature of the water returned from the place where the hot water is used and detected with a temperature detector 22, is compared with that of the heat accumulator 2 detected with a temperature detector 16. Only when the temperature of the return water is lower than that of the heat accumulator 2, the return water is sent back to the heat accumulator 2. When the temperature of the return water is higher than that of the heat accumulator 2, the return water is flowed through a change-over valve 19 into the pump 8 directly. The snow accumulated on the solar heat collector 1 can be melted away by circulating the hot water in the heat accumulator 2. In such a manner as mentioned above, the functions for combined heating and hot water supply and for melting of the snow utilizing solar heat can be imparted to the system.
