Abstract
PURPOSE:To fire a powder stock material stably in continuous operation by a method wherein the powder stock material such as cement clinker or the like is fired while fluidized in a fluidized layer and, thereafter, available utilization of calorie during cooling is attained. CONSTITUTION:The powder stock material such as cement or the like after preheating and calcining is fired in the fluidized bed 16 on an inclined dispersing plate 14. Large lump precipitated in the fluidized layer 16 is withdrawn from a lower part of the fluidized layer 16 and fired clinker and the unfired stock material is solified after cooling once and overflowed to be separated into coarse particle clinker, fine particle clinker and the unfired stock material and only the coarse particle clinker is retured to a cooling appratus 7 and the remainder is returned to a fluidized firing kiln 5. In this time, air heated by cooling the coarse particle clinker is used as burning air of a burner 9 and air heated by cooling the large lumps as burning air of a fuel for firing. As decribed above, by available utilization of heat, the powder stock material is fired in continuous operation.
