Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent main control switching elements from turning on at the same time, without setting a quiescent time, by detecting the pulse width of a current flowing in the main control switching elements, and limiting a driving pulse. CONSTITUTION:When a main control transistor 2 is turned on through a driving circuit 13 by a control pulse which has been generated from a controlling circuit 11, voltage of a DC power supply 1 is applied between A and B of the primary winding, and the voltage is induced to the secondary side through a transformer 4. When a reference voltage value of a reference voltage generating circuit 16 is selected in advance lower than said induced voltage value to be applied to a reversing input terminal of a comparator 18, an output of the comparator 18 becomes a low level, and even if a driving pulse of a main control transistor 3 is generated by the next timing, the driving pulse is not provided to the main control transistor 3 while an output of the comparator 18 is in a low level (while the main control transistor 2 is on), by a 2 input AND gate 20.
