Abstract
PURPOSE: To measure accurately the internal temperature of the material to be examined, by detecting the microwave generated from the heat source.
CONSTITUTION: After the material to be examined is put on head 10, light beams are irradiated to it from light sources 20 and 22, and the position of head 10 is so determined that these light beams intersect in a desired diagnostic part. The microwave emitted from the diagnostic part of the material to be examined, namely, focus position 100 is reflected by the inside face of reflective mirror 12 and is condensed toward the other focus position 200 where the wave receiving face of microwave detector 14 is provided. The microwave is gathered to detector 14 efficiently by reflective mirror 12, and the internal temperature of the material to be examined is measured surely from emission energy of the weak microwave.
