Abstract

PURPOSE:To perform heating efficiently and to obtain hot water in a short period of time by the electric boiler such as an electric pot or the like wherein water in a container is heated, led outside the container, and then again returned into the container. CONSTITUTION:When the electric boiler is put in use, the container 7 is placed on the surface of a container receiver 3 and a prescribed amount of water is charged into the container 7. Part of water in the container 7 flows through an outlet 8 into a pipe 19. A part of the pipe 19 attached to the container receiver 3 is heated by heat conduction through an electric heater 4, and therefore the water in the pipe 19 is boiled in a quite short period of time. By the pressure elevation in the pipe 19 due to the boiling and by closing action of a check valve 24, the boiled water is prevented from flowing back and is circulated through a circulation path 18 into the container 7 from an outlet of a piping 21. In this case, since part of heat produced by the heater heats the bottom of the container 7, the boiling can be further effectively performed.
