Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain a hydrocarbon oil composition containing a resin capable of lowering the pour point of the oil, wherein said resin is obtained a 2W5C olefin, a 1W3C monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester, and a monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester represented by a specific formula in a specific proportion.
CONSTITUTION: A hydrocarbon oil composition contains 50W3,000ppm of a copolymer composed of a 2W5C olefin (a), a 1 to 3C monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester (b), and a monocarboxylic acid vinyl ester (c) of the formula CH2=CH-OCOR (where R is an 8W9C branched alkyl group) in a proportion within a range surrounded by a triangle connecting the three points A [(a) is 62wt% or less, (b) 5wt%, and (c) 33wt%], B [(a) is 6wt%, (b) 64wt%, and (c) 30wt%], and C [(a) is 4wt%, (b) 12wt%, and (c) 84wt%].
