Abstract
PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition having improved corrosion prevention, by adding a specific silicone-containing monomer to an acrylic copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for a corrosion prevention coating consisting of (A) 5W50 parts by wt., preferably 10W30 parts by wt. of an acrylic copolymer consisting of (a) 0.1W50 wt.%, preferably 2W30 wt.% of a silicone-containing monomer [e.g. an adduct of an aminoalkylalkoxysilane and glycidyl (meth) acrylate, etc.] shown by the formula (R1 and R5 are H or methyl; R2WR4 are 1W4C alkyl; n is 1W12; m is 1W10), (b) 5W50 wt.%, preferably 15W40 wt.% of styrene, and (c)≤94.9 wt.%, preferably 83W30 wt.% of vinyl monomers, and (B) 50W90 parts by wt., preferably 70W90 parts by wt. of an acrylic copolymer containing 5W50 wt.% of styrene
