Abstract

PURPOSE: To separate and carry out thin plates, particularly containing moistures, one by one from the stacked stock positively by providing a shutter and a slidable projecting plate having the stepped portion with a protruded thickness a little less than that of the protruded thin plate at its bottom surface.

CONSTITUTION: When carrying out thin plates being stacked within a housing one by one, the projecting plate 3 is set at its retreated position and a highest thin plate 1a is adhered to a nonstepped portion 3b thereof by means of a lifting device 5. In this state, the projecting plate 3 is moved forward so that the thin plate 1a is pushed out from the open end of the housing 2 at the protruding side through a jaw at a stepped portion 3a of the thin plate 1a. On this occasion, the second highest thin plate 1b is prevented from accompanying with the thin plate 1a by the abut- ment against the upper edge of the open end of the housing at the protruding side. When the thin plate 1a is completely pushed out from the housing 2, a shutter 6 is shifted upward by means of a spring 8. Thereafter upon the retreat of the peojecting plate 3, the thin plate 1a adhered to the bottom surface of the projecting plate 3 is prevented from moving by the precense of the shutter 6, so that thin plate 1a is dropped on a rest plate 9.
