Abstract

PURPOSE: To effectively utilize energy by recovering the sensible heat of each higher temp. part of exhaust gas from a process of sintering ore, etc. and exhaust air from a process of cooling sintered ore as electric power.
CONSTITUTION: Ore 2 as starting material is sintered in a sintering process A while being conveyed from an ore feeding part (a) to an ore discharging part (b). At this time, the higher temp. part of exhaust gas corresponding to about 1/3 of the full length of a duct is gathered in the duct 6a of higher temp. side and fed to a boiler 20a of a steam power plant C through a preduster 19a to utilize the sensible heat. The utilized exhaust gas is passed through a line 27, a fan 28, a line 29 and a hood 30 and used in the sintering process A again. On the other hand, the higher temp. part of exhaust air from a cooling process B is fed to a boiler 20b of the plant C through a preduster 19b. After recovering the sensible heat, the exhaust air is released into the air from a stack 26 through a fan 25.
