Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve a sealing effect at low pressure port and high pressure ports by providing at least two pair of male and femal rotors and engaging each rotor with other rotors, of different sort.
CONSTITUTION: When a driving shaft 22 is properly turned by a driving motor, its turning power is transmitted via a drving gear 21 and each pinion 19, 20 to each male rotor 10, 12 and each female rotor 11, 13 which are meshed with the male rotors. Rotation of each rotor 10W13 causes a gas to be sucked from low pressure ports 6, 7 into 15, 16 of each rotor 10W13. As rotation of each rotor 10W13 progresses, a volumetric capacity of each space 15, 16 wherein a gas is sucked is gradually reduced to compress it. When the rotation of the meshed rotors advances to a point where a space 15, or 16 intercommunicates with each high pressure port (not illustrated in the drawing), the compressed gas is discharged from the high pressure ports.
