Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce power loss or wear out by forming an apporoximately oval- shaped cylinder chamber so that an arc-shaped vane may make a sliding motion to the inside wall surface of the cylinder chamber by a contact pressure balance irrespective of a rotary angle position of a rotor. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder chamber 2 is approximately oval-shaped in outside appearance so that the end of an arc vane 6 may come into constant contact with the inside wall surface of the cylinder chamber 2 in no matter where a rotary angle a rotor 4 is located. With this construction, a sliding motion of the arc vane 6 is accomplished by a contact pressure balance which allows the ends of the vane 6 to come into relative contact with the inside wall surface of the cylinder chamber 2. As a result, the contact pressure exerted to the wall surface inside a cylinder 1 at the ends of the arc vane 6 and the air-tightness produced by the contact pressure can be equally maintained and are not subjected by the cahnges in rotary angle position of the rotor 4 or the rotary speed, thereby reducing power loss or wear out. Therefore, a high capacity can be exerted as a vacuum pump or fluid pump.
