Abstract
PURPOSE: To give a precise volume change by arranging a movable piston in a cylinder provided with stoppers at both ends.
CONSTITUTION: A movable piston 34 is arranged in a cylinder 33 having both ends closed by end plates 31, 32 and a fixed stopper 38 and the inside thereof is air tightly divided into spacings 35W37 and respectively connected to an air pressure source 11, a work 16, and a reference tank 17 through passages 53W55 and magnet valves 13W15 and 56 and the like. Thus, a micro meter head 41 is adjusted to set a movable stopper 39 to a predetermined position, air pressure from the air source 11 is introduced into a spacing 35 to move the piston 34 rightward until the shaft thereof 44 abuts against the movable stopper 39, and then a spacing is communicated with the atmosphere by the control of the magnet valve 56, so that the piston 34 moves leftward until it abuts against a fixed stopper 38 instantaneously by means of a spring 46 and volume in the spacing 36 or, the volume at the side of the work 16 is instantaneoulsy increased by volume determined by the distance of movement L.
