Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent a fluorescent lamp from being contaminated by mercury by inserting an inner tube made of ultraviolet transparent glass inside which an infrared antireflection film is coated, between the glass tube and the electrode.
CONSTITUTION: The inner tube 10 consisting of ultraviolet transparent glass inside which the infrared antireflection film 11 is coated in a space between the glass tube 1 and the electrode 5.
