Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide offset preventive effect and enable high efficiency toner transfer without development unevenness, by adding specified block polymerization rubber and low polymerization polypropylene, besides specified copolymer of styrene-acrylic compound.
CONSTITUTION: The toner composition is mainly made of magnetic powder and resin. As one of the resin components, a thermoplastic copolymer of styrene and acrylic compound specified below is used. That is, the copolymer should consist of a monomer group of acrylic acid and metacrylic acid, a monomer group of styrene, and a monomer group of alkyl acrylate of which number of carbon atoms in alkyl group is 1W12 and alkyl metacrylate of which number of carbon atoms in alkyl group is 2W12. Preferably, by using a resin of which softening point is 120W150°C, a magnetic toner capable of transferring toner at high efficiency without development unevenness may be obtained.
