Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a multi-wound saddle type coil without using a coil winding base or rotary operation.
CONSTITUTION: Prewound oval type coils 5a... 5n are placed on the coil support 4 with spacers 10 therebetween. The mold 7 is positioned and fixed by the fixture 8. The coil 5a is bent along the mold 7 and shaped into a bent coil 6a. Next, a bent coil 6b is formed to be followed by similar bending procedures. The assembled coils are placed in the female mold 9 and molder under pressure to complete a saddle type coil 6.
