Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure a high-speed detection for the variation of the input signal by securing an automatic approximation of the reference signal to the input signal level via the threshold voltage of the rectifying device.
CONSTITUTION: The rectifying devices featuring the threshold level such as n- channel IGFETs 6 and 7 are connected in parallel between 1st and 2nd input terminals 2 and 3. At the same time, the gates of FET6 and 7 are connected to terminals 2 and 3 respectively. Then voltage source 8 featuring the voltage nearly identical to the high level of the input signal is provided. And n-channel IGFET9 is inserted between the output of source 8 and terminal 3, and the gate of FET9 is connected to source 8. In such constitution of the circuit, the reference voltage follows always to the variation of the input signal with a fixed difference (threshold level of IGFET), thus ensuring a quick detection for the variation regardless of the direction of the variation of the input signal.
