Abstract

PURPOSE:To decrease the number of elements for a decoder of a complementary MOSFET integrated circuit, by using the synchronous signal to the gate of P channel transistor (PMOSFET) of the decoder and then turning the source of an N channel transistor (NMOSFET) into the reverse signal to the above-mentioned synchronous signal. CONSTITUTION:When a synchronous signal phi22 is at a VDD level, a decoder output WL26 is at a VSS level and turned off. Selection signals 23 and 24 are set at the VDD level, respectively, and the revese signal phi25 to the above-mentioned synchronous signal is set at the VSS level. Thus the output WL26 is at the VDD level and turned on. A PMOSFET31 and an NMOSFET32 form an output inverter, and NMOSFET28 functions to charge up a node 33 to prevent the malfunction of a decoder.
