Abstract

PURPOSE: A rapidly curable resin composition that contains an unsaturated polyester resin, a liquid polybutadiene resin, a saturated polyester resin, radically polymerizable monomers and an radical polymerization initiator, thus suitably being used to embed electric parts.
CONSTITUTION: To 100 parts by wt of an unsaturated polyester resin are added 5W 20 parts of a liquid polybutadiene resin, 1W15 parts of a saturated polyester, and radically polymerizable monomers and a radical polymerization initiator. The polymerizable monomer is preferably vinyl monomer as styrene and the amount is 30W80wt% based on the total amount of the resins. The radical polymerization initiator is preferably a peroxide as benzoyl peroxide and the amount is preferably 0.1W3wt% based on the total resin. The polybutadiene is preferably 500W5,000 in molecular weight.
