Abstract
PURPOSE: To surely align the leading ends of the original and copying paper and perform copying by once stopping the conveying of the original when the leading end of the original comes to the 2nd detecting means and starting the conveying of the original synchronously when the front end of the roll-form copying paper reaches the 3rd detecting means.
CONSTITUTION: The detecting means S1, S2 which detect the trailing end and leading end respectively of the original are provided on the upper side in the copying exposure operation direction with respect to the scanning window of an original conveying path 50 and the 3rd detecting means S3 is provided by being spaced from the cutting position P1 by the same distance l1 as the distance l7 between the detecting means S1 and S2. When the front end of the original reaches the detecting means S2, the conveying of said original is once stopped and when the front end of the roll-form copying paper reaches the detecting means S3, the conveying of the original having been stopped is started in synchronization therewith and therefore the copying may be accomplished by surely aligning the front ends of the original and copying machine.
