Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to prevent a vapor locking phenomenon of gasoline in a simple constitution by cooling a gasoline pipe communicating a gasoline tank with an internal combustion engine with a coolant returning to a compressor in a car cooler. CONSTITUTION:Circulation of a coolant starts when an engine 1 is driven and a refrigeration cycle is operated. And the coolant is compressed at first by a compressor 9, runs to a condenser 12 in a condition of high temperature and pressure and is liquefied by being cooled with a cooling fan 2. The liquefied coolant is led to an evaporator 13 and vaporized. Whereas, the coolant returns to the compressor 9 through a suction coolant pipe 10 of low temperature and pressure. Though the coolant gas is heated slightly during the work, its temperature is sufficiently lower than that of atmosphere surrounding a low pressure gasoline pipe 6 from a gasoline tank 7 to a pump 3. Accordingly, a vapor lock phenomenon of gasoline can be prevented by contacting the coolant pipe 10 with the low pressure gasoline pipe 6 and covering both with an adiabatic material 14.
