Abstract

PURPOSE:To produce the high tensile steel plate of superior workability which has alloyed zinc plated layer on a two-phase structure steel plate by performing heat treatment at the specific temperature and rate of cooling in the two processes of zinc hot dipping the steel sheet and alloying this. CONSTITUTION:A steel sheet containing C; 0.005-0.15%, Mn; 0.3-2.0%, Mo; 0.05-0.5% is heated to the (alpha+gamma) 2-phase co-existence region temperature between the Ac1-Ac3 transformation points and is held for 30sec. Next, it is cooled down to 450-550 deg.C at a rate of cooling of more than the critical cooling rate CR deg.C/ sec shown by the formula, and is subjected to zinc hot dipping treatment at this temperature. Further, it is heated to the temperature between 500 deg.C to Ac1 transformation point to alloy the zinc to the steel plate. Following to this, it is cooled down to the temperature of 300 deg.C or less at above the rate of cooling of said critical cooling rate CR deg.C/sec. Or further, if necessary, it is subjected to over-aging treatment for a short time at 300 deg.C or less for the purpose of material adjustment. The high tensile steel plate which has the 2-phase mixed structures of ferrite and martensite, is provided with the alloyed zinc plated layer and has superior workability is obtained.
